Portuguese FIFA-licensed agent Olawale, popularly known as SirWhite, has extended heartfelt gratitude to global football icon Cristiano Ronaldo for his remarkable humanitarian contributions to children in Portugal.
Speaking on behalf of Reigns Soccer Agency, with offices in Lisbon and across Africa, SirWhite praised Ronaldo’s decision to dedicate €60 million toward purchasing buses to transport children from underprivileged villages to school.
“We say a very big thank you to Cristiano Ronaldo for his generosity to the children from poor villages in Portugal,” SirWhite said.
“He denied himself certain comforts to give back to his society, inspired by the story he once heard from his mother long ago. This is very touching and heart-caring. Only a few people can do this for the children of their country.”
The gesture, he noted, will not only provide safe transportation but also give children the opportunity to pursue education and achieve their dreams.
SirWhite also encouraged African footballers to emulate Ronaldo’s example, highlighting that while some are already engaged in similar charitable efforts, more needs to be done to bring hope and opportunities to children in African villages.
“We want to see more of this from African footballers,” he added.
“It is about giving hope and life to village children. As we always say at Reigns Soccer Agency, ‘Gratitude is the fairest blossom which springs from the soul.’”
